My name is Wendy Urena,  also known as The Curvy Chica. I’m a certified Makeup Artist with over 18 years in the beauty industry, a licensed Esthetician for the past nine years, and a Reiki Master and Sound Practitioner.

Keema has been in the industry since 2007, but she’s had the passion from very early on. Studied at Paul Mitchell the School - Santa Barbara, has a chair at Solstice Salon Truckee and has countless weddings under her belt, making every Bride feel her best on her special day.

She trained as a makeup artist at Glamour Shots and was a freelance artist with Lancôme Cosmetics. Kristina offers comprehensive experience that begins with personalized consultations and detailed skin preparation.

Her background allows her to enhance her client’s natural beauty, detailing their best features and ensuring long-lasting, flawless results. As a portrait makeup artist, Kristina works with professional photographers on a wide range of portraiture—from headshots and branding to boudoir and family sessions. Kristina understands the nuances of makeup for photography, ensuring every look translates flawlessly on camera under different lighting and angles. Her reassuring energy and unique spirit make her a favorite among brides, helping them feel relaxed and radiant on one of the most important days of their lives.

Laura has lived in the Carson valley for most of her life and is a long time member of LBB since 2018. A hairdresser and lash technician day to day at one of the Valley’s oldest salons. Passionate about the art and creativity it takes to transform anyone’s ordinary hair into their dream style for every life event. With a strong ability to trouble shoot problematic hair she is confident to deliver desired results. Being an integral part of a Bride’s day is her greatest honor, and most rewarding  aspect of her work. She can’t wait to make you feel the best version of yourself!

Hi, I’m Brenna! Originally from Napa, CA, I spent over 20 years working in San Francisco and throughout the Bay Area before happily settling in the Tahoe area. I specialize in color, blonding, wedding hair, and haircuts. I’m also a proud Yorkie lover and mom to an amazing 6-year-old.

I trained for two years under a color specialist, wedding artist, and master stylist with backgrounds at Vidal Sassoon and Toni & Guy. Learning from both precision and freehand cutting techniques gave me a well-rounded approach to hairstyling.

I love working with brides and bridal parties because every wedding is unique and being part of such a special day is incredibly rewarding. From the different wedding styles to the fashion and creativity involved, I enjoy helping clients feel beautiful and confident while creating memories they'll cherish forever.
